Seeking professional help is not a weakness.

Healing from trauma isn’t about forgetting—it’s about reconnecting with yourself in a way that feels safe, grounded, and whole.

Whether you’ve experienced a single traumatic event or lived through years of chronic stress, trauma can leave lasting imprints on the mind, body, and nervous system. Therapy provides a space to gently process those experiences at a pace that respects your needs, boundaries, and lived reality.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and my work is grounded in compassion, somatic awareness, and a deep understanding of how trauma shows up in the body and mind. You are not broken—your responses make sense. Together, we can create space for healing.

What is Trauma Therapy?

Trauma therapy offers tools to regulate your nervous system, process painful memories, and rebuild a sense of safety, connection, and self-trust.

In our work together, this might include:

  • Mind-body techniques to help you stay grounded in the present
  • Gently exploring trauma narratives without retraumatization
  • Somatic and mindfulness-based practices to release stored tension
  • Resourcing skills to build emotional safety and resilience

We’ll go slow, honoring your readiness and your right to feel in control.

What is PTSD and Complex PTSD?

PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) can result from a single traumatic event, while Complex PTSD often stems from prolonged or repeated trauma, especially in early relationships.

Common symptoms may include:

  • Flashbacks, nightmares, or intrusive memories
  • Hypervigilance or feeling constantly on edge
  • Emotional numbness or disconnection
  • Intense shame, guilt, or self-blame
  • Difficulty trusting others or feeling safe in relationships

Trauma therapy can help you begin to understand and shift these patterns—not by erasing your past, but by transforming your relationship to it.

Who is This For?

This work is for anyone navigating the impacts of trauma, including:

  • Survivors of assault, abuse, or violence
  • People with developmental or relational trauma
  • Individuals who’ve experienced medical or birth trauma
  • First responders, veterans, or those exposed to systemic trauma
  • Anyone who feels stuck, unsafe, or disconnected from themselves

Trauma may shape you, but it doesn’t define you. Healing is possible.

How We’ll Work Together

Our sessions will be collaborative, trauma-informed, and deeply respectful of your autonomy.

You can expect to:

  • Develop tools for grounding and nervous system regulation
  • Explore trauma gently, only when and if you’re ready
  • Build a sense of internal safety and emotional resilience
  • Reconnect with your body and sense of self in empowering ways

You don’t have to relive everything to heal. We’ll move at your pace, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.

Common Questions

No. We work with what feels safe and supportive. You never have to share anything you don’t want to.
Yes. The brain and body are capable of healing at any stage. It's never too late to begin.
That’s okay—those are normal trauma responses. We’ll slow down, use grounding tools, and adjust to your nervous system’s pace.
